I'm baaaack. . .

Before I dive back into my usual round of blog entries on cognitive science, education policy issues, seasonal observations, K12 development pieces, and (most fun of all) stories that you all have told me, I thought I'd finish with one more bit from our time in Italy, in the Naples region.

Pompeii was truly amazing. You can read about the volcanic tragedy, of course, and talk about it, but to actually walk amongst the ruins is amazing. And it's big - a city of 200,000 all wiped out and covered in ash, now mostly uncovered again.
