Israel, Syria Peace Talks Confirmed

JERUSALEM — Israel and Syria on Wednesday said they were holding indirect peace talks through Turkish mediators _ the first official confirmation of contacts between the longtime enemies.
This of course won't be credited to Bush since he's the big bad wolf. But, the truth will come out in years to come that the Bush Doctrine worked.
