So the city council in Valpo is trying to decide if they should allow smoking in the new bars and restaurants that will come downtown. Remember last year our mayor and councilman Williams pushed our local state representatives to pass a state statute enabling Valpo to issue 10 more liquor licenses for downtown as an economic development initiative.
