So, you're the Secretary of State of the USA. Do you get worked up and bothered enough to cause something to happen in Kenya for freedom and democracy? Or, do you work closely with the Kenyan government, our ally, to bolster security and keep Muslim fundamentalists from gaining a further foothold?
It's a tough call isn't it

by the Association of Concerned
Africa Scholars highlighting "the role of the U.S. government -- far from a
neutral player -- both before and after the elections" and the danger that U.S.
involvement will be biased by its close military relations with the Kenyan
