So this guy wants to be ambassador to the UN? And the President nominates him ... the liberals hate the guy ... the moderates seem to be wavering (see article on Colin Powell) ... and the convervatives and Bush are "high" on him. Whats the real story?
Will he call for the UN Sec Gen to step down?
Will he push the UN to take a more active role?
Will he try and use the UN to make democracy more available?
What exactly would he do that is sooo scary to the liberals and the moderates. Would he speak his mind and really tick off the liberals?
I was ready to see his name removed from consideraton early ... now maybe we really do want him if the liberals hate him so much.
