President Bush has taken advantage of the situation in Lebanan to gain a foothold for democracy and push the Syrians out. We'll be watching to see the Lebanese take over running their own country.
Now, why doesn't he give the same attention to African democratic movements?
For example the coup in Togo and resultant resignation of the "president" may be an opportunity for democracy on this war-torn continent.
