So we sent three of our Senators to Uzbekistan and >>> they were turned away by the government leaders. Why? It looks like they were not happy to "share" the limelight with opposition groups that met with the Senators.
The United States wants Uzbeks to continue their fight against terror ... but we also want to push real democracy. We're at an impasse while we wait and watch to see who comes out on top.
